Dare to Dream Theatre Academy

Where children develop important life skills and core values through
creativity and imagination. Youngsters experience the thrills and challenges of live theater and blossom as they discover more about themselves and the world around them. All in a fun, relaxed and nurturing environment.


THE ACTOR IN YOU SERIES

Explore worlds from literature. Learn acting and public speaking skills while exploring current issues through exploration of Narnia. Each group will stage a live performance at the end of the session.

THE FIRST STEPS PROGRAM

A new program designed for young children ages 3-6. Children explore storytelling and creative drama through music, movement, arts and crafts and imaginative play. Each 45 minute session is self-contained and requires parents to stay with their child and if desired, join in some activities.

THE STAGES PROGRAM

A new series for young children ages 7 and up. Children will explore performance and stagecraft through cross-curricular activities including music, acting and movement. Each 90 minute session will spend 45 minutes exploring music and 45 minutes of acting or dance.

THE TRIPLE THREAT PROGRAM
Actors are admitted by invitation only through a rigorous audition process.
This program will provide the young actors selected to attend the Junior Theatre Festival in January 2012 with additional training and attention to prepare them for the festival. Participation in this class is a requirement of, and included in, the cost associated with the Junior Theater Festival. Actors interested in the class, but unable to attend the Festival may be welcomed into the class.
