Volunteer
opportunity/duties for Step Back In Time
Parent Patrol
Each family with a child in the cast age 12 or
younger must sign up for 3-5 days. The
sign up sheet is in the Volunteer Binder on the announcement
table at the theater.
Duties
include:
- Staying
in assigned station
or with assigned kids and keep them quiet and occupied. (rehearsals and
performances)
- Make
sure kids in your
group/station are prepared and ready to make entrances on time. (you
will have
a script with everything recorded)
- During
performances keep
kids in their assigned areas
- During
performances make
sure kids are not eating in costume
- Listen
to Stage Manager and
help her out as needed
Fundraising
All families involved are asked to be involved.
E-mails will be sent out with details as we progress.
Projects

- Help plan the Girls & Dolls and Ice Cream Social Events August 8-10 2008
- Raise $10,000 for High School Musical Budget
- Sell
ads in the 2008-2009 program
- Brainstorm
possible sponsors
and submit addresses and contact names

of where you left posters.
It will be posted online and constantly updated so that we do not

locations.

all blocking changes during rehearsals in SM script.
- Make
sure all actors are at
rehearsals. Call them if they are not there and are not marked excused
- Be
on book to help with
lines once actors are off book
- Help
keep actors quiet and
on task backstage.
- Help
with tasks as needed
from Over all Stage manager and director
- Make
sure all
instructions/locations are posted for actors backstage
- Make
sure all costume/makeup
changes are posted backstage and in dressing rooms for actors
Lighting
or sound.
responsibilities:
- Attend
rehearsals in late July early August to learn the light or sound board.
- Run
the light or sound for
tech and performances
- Assist
with hanging lights
or running sound (you will be contacted for work dates)
