Backstage Duties: Saturday 11/8
MATINEE
Parent
Patrol: Adults
assigned to the Orange and Pink Areas at the Capitol to help keep
actors occupied, quiet, on task and ready for costume changes,
entrances and cues. Be "go
to" person for one small group of orange or pink group
kids.
Green Room Patrol: Adults
assigned to the Green room area keeping Orange and Pink groups from
wandering outside of their areas. Keeps an eye on snacks to make sure
that no food leaves the greenroom area.
Hair
Team: Volunteers assigned to helping principal actors
with curling and styling hair before the performance. Must set up and
clear up hair areas daily.
Make up
Team: Volunteers assigned to helping principal actors with
makeup before the performance. Must set up and clear up make up areas
daily.
Meal/Snack
Team: Organize/provide meal or healthy snack in greenroom
for intermission and after the show
Dressing Room Team:
Adults assigned to check dressing room after performances and
rehearsals to make sure that all costumes are hung nicely in their
proper places. Also assigned to fabreeze costumes after every
performance/rehearsal.
Prop
Team: Assigned to make sure all props are in place before
the performance, ready to go. Must also make sure that all props are
back in their assigned places after each show/rehearsal
Costume
Gripe Team: Assigned to make minor repairs to costumes
that lose buttons, snag, or tear.
