Maximum class size: 16 students (negotiable)

A
re-introduction to imagination and its use in theatre combined with the
exploration
of the techniques used by professional actors.
Students will use imagination and improvisation to explore
improvisational
activities, as well as taking a look at the popular Stanislavski
methods
applied to scenes and monologues chosen and prepared during the course
of
the class which will be presented on the last day of class.
The focus of the class is not only on developing an understanding of
why
people act the way they do and applying that to creating realistic
characters,
but also the benefits of reawakening the imagination even as we grow
older.
There are no current sessions scheduled
for this class.
