Individual Activities:

Includes Room & Board for 10 days, 2 meals a day, full day of camp activities, and camp t-shirt

A sibling discount of 10% will be applied to each additional sibling registered

Activity Choices

Singing for the Stage: Chorus (L1-5) Learn how to sing in a chorus.

Movement for Theatre: (L1-3) Explore the basics of dance/movement by exploring nature and animals. 

Voice and the actor (L1-5): explore techniques to increase range and power of the actor's voice.

Green Room: Theatre games (Required for L1-2, optional for L3-L5

Stage Makeup (L3-5) Learn the basics of stage makeup application.

Stagecraft (L3-5) Build a model set, learn painting techniques and explore basic stagecraft.

Shakespeare for Kids (L3-5) An intro to understanding Shakespeare.

Acting for Film and Television (L3-5): Learn techniques for on camera acting and create a commercial for television

Acting for the Radio (L3-5): Explore the history and techniques for voice over acting and record a radio commercial

Musical Theater: Voice and the Actor (Must Audition) Learn the techniques needed to make a song come alive by working on a solo or duet.

Be the Director (L4-L5) Explore what it means to be the director by choosing a scene and directing students in "Actor's lab"

Actor's Lab (L1-L5) Work with a novice director

Summer Camp Schedule

9:00 am - Actors of all levels meet together for Warm Ups and Theatre Games.

9:45 am - Voice for Stage actors divide by level to work on vocal techniques. advanced students will begin to explore work with accents.

10:30 am - Improv or Scene study. Lower levels explore acting through improvisational scene study while the upper levels explore Stanislavski method as applied to scenes or monologues.
